MAC Attack

So as you know from the previous blog, there was a MAC store and I found it. I was very surprised at how well I behaved myself. My favorite purchase has to be Show Orchid and holy hell is that shit hott pink. Without even knowing it, that got me everything from the Colour Ready collection. I think thats what the collection was called....That Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder is AMAZING....love it. Where was I? Ahhh yes....so I got that for fun as well as 2 eye kohls in some fun colors. Those are the only play things I got. The others fall more into the business category haha...I got an empty 15 palette, a nude paint pot (it helps my eyeshadow stick and my lids are red so it evens out the color) and Carbon, a black matte eyeshadow (for the smokey eye and to set my eyeliner because you know girlfriend loves her heavy liner). Not too bad. I didn't allow myself to swatch any eyeshadows because

A. MAC now sells the eyeshadow pans online, so I didn't feel the pressure to stock up.
B. I am buying the whole Medusa's Makeup line, depotting them and making a palette. Don't worry they only have 12 eyeshadows. But I figured I'd get that palette complete first.
C. And most importanly if I swatched any eyeshadows then I would start getting ideas of looks and I would impulse buy. I can't swatch and not buy....I just can't. So, I don't swatch at all.

OK so in Tiny Toon Town, where I now reside there is only a MAC counter and the beasts that work there are cunts. Anyways the ladies at the MAC store were wonderful, very helpful and just made the experience great. So I was chatting with them and they were telling me how they were going to do this huge thing for the new Style Warrio Collection that was about to come out. I think the collection is OFFICIALLY supposed to come out at the end of the month but each store releases them early and at different times. Anyways so while I was talking to them I was telling them about what colors I was interested in and they could tell that I had been anxiously following this collection. Long story longer, I got a sneak peek at the Style Warrior Collection!!!!!!! Yeah this probably means shit now, because most stores have released it already. But this happened before ANY of it had been released to the public....trust I know I would have seen it on YouTube or the beauty blogs I read. I was sssssoooooooo excited! I was surprised at how the colors looked in real life.....very pretty. What didn't toot my horn was the casings...the zebra and cheetah print which is mainly on the packaging was what I thought was the coolest and it was what was going to be thrown away! Everyone is going gaga over the gold/bronze casings that the eyeshadows and stuff are in....I wasn't impressed. Honestly, I probably would have depotted them and thrown them in a palette.

Ahhh ok so another story out of the way. I have a feeling that this story is not going to make much sense because I wrote it straight through withought stopping, I am not in a good mood and didn't really feel like blogging, but I am going to try to keep up with my blog.
