Love Love Love!

My favorite brand of nail polish these days has to be China Glaze. It is OPI's little sister, which to me means same thing just comes in more shades other than pink, mauve, mango and burgundy. Anyways, so in March or whenever MAC's Sugarsweet Collection came out there was a nail polish in there named "Peppermint Patti." That shade is amazing. I am not a big fan of MAC nail polishes because

A. They are $12.00

B. They come in a teeny weeny bottle

C. The formulation is always streaky

However, Peppermint Patti was just such a unique color, I was willing to compromise all 3 and get it anyways. I am sssooo glad I got it because to this day every single time I wear Peppermint Patti I get compliments.

Not long after that nail polish came out it seems like everyone was hating on Peppermint Patti saying that it was EXACTLY like China Glaze's "For Audrey." Yes, there is drama even in the cosmetics industry. I saw swatches of For Audrey and even online it was clear that Peppermint Patti had a mint color and For Audrey had a "Tiffany's" blue look. (It was named after Audrey Hepburn....Breakfast at Tiffany's....Tiffany & Co.) This blog has a point I promise! Both colors are really gorgeous creme colors but they are NOT alike. Even in the bottle they look like different.

I decided to purchase For Audrey a few weeks ago and I love it! It is my favorite China Glaze nail polish. The color is very very pretty but China Glaze's creme finish nail polishes are wonderful. This nail polish was very opaque and I only had to do 2 coats. It was not streaky at all! Loves it!

So I am trying to get into the swing of blogging daily again. This is a half ass attempt. Better posts to come...ojala.
