What is your favorite scary movie?

What is your favorite scary movie? The quote ever so popular from the movie Scream. If you know me personally, you know that I am a big chicken shit. I don't do haunted houses, I don't watch scary movies alone and usually try to weasel my way out of watching them in the dark as well. Though that is true, I do still LOVE horror films. I am not talking about the Jason/Freddie stuff...I mean yeah that scared me as a kid and will probably still make me jump today, but when all is said and done the newer stuff just doesn't do it for me. Even though what scared me as a kid is now kind of cheesy, I still love it and I think that my favorite scary movie is still well made and has some cool stuff in it.

Suspiria

I love this movie. I don't own it, but I watch it every now and then on the Internet. LAME I know...I spend all this money on makeup and shit and I can't fork out 20 some bucks and order it off Amazon or something. Anyways it was made in the 70's and you can tell, however I think that if you ever get a chance to see it you instantly know why I like it. It has some really great eye candy, in regards to colors. There are some great acid, mushroom, Alice in Wonderland, neon bursts of color peppered in there. I don't know I love it. I first saw it when I was pretty young, before my parents went out for the evening or whatever my mom would take me to this hole in the wall movie place to rent movies. I didn't appreciate it then but now being older, they had so many really great indie films and Japanese and Italian horror films that I rented. Yes, I was chicken shit then too, but I watched anyways. What came first love or the love song? So for your viewing pleasure here is a clip.
