Midnight Mask

It is almost 1 in the morning and I am still not asleep. I had such a busy week I decided to catch up on some DVR-ed treats and then I was like hmmm lets do a mask. So this time around I did the cucumber one, it was very different from the first one I did. This one was just a basic cucumber mask to get rid of dead skin.

Well these things are VERY messy, at least for me they are. But they are really fun to do. I opened the package and I LOVED the smell. It smelled like lime Otter Pops taste...if that makes sense. Nothing like cucumber, which is fine. So, I put it on my face it didn't feel like anything. I kind of expected an instant cooling like the other mask, but no there was nothing. So I get it on and after a few minutes my face gets that cooling thing going on. It felt really good....so I turned the fan on HIGH and ohhh yeah that felt nice. It dried in about 10 minutes. I peeled it off and that was that. The mask actually left my skin feeling really tight and almost dry. I looked at the back of the package and this one had quite a bit of alcohol and alcohol based ingredients in it, so that was probably the reason. I was a little disappointed that I didn't have that nice "glow" that I got from the other mask....then again I didn't get the chemical peel feeling either.I really liked this one because it didn't make my eyes water, it smelled sssoooo good, it didn't burn and it dried quickly.
I didn't like it because after I peeled it off my skin looked dried out and looked like I did absolutely nothing. Also I didn't like that it had so much alcohol in it...I have dry skin already, why add to drying it out?

Verdict: ahhh still up in the air...honestly I would buy the pomegranate one again over this one....Yeah it burned a little, but it didn't dry my skin out and I actually saw a result when I peeled the mask off.
