This is probably my favorite thing to do on my blog.
Premise: Put the pod on shuffle, first 10 songs....what you like about them, what they remind you of, why you have them, anything....GO.
1. Please Don't Leave Me - Pink
A couple of tracks from Funhouse are new members to the pod, this one included. Gosh...listen to the first and second verses and I swear it reminds me of Eric and I. I like this song, but kind of bittersweet to listen to.
2. My Curse - Killswitch Engage
This is one of those songs that never gets old to me. Anytime I hear it I will just turn it waaaayyy up and jam it the fuck out. This one and The End of Heartache are some damn good songs. And Howard Jones can fucking sing. Songs like this usually sound good on the record but are hard to do live and I saw them perform on the Gods of Metal Awards and he sounded damn good.
3. 45 - Shinedown
45 was way before goodbye is a second chance. I don't want to say I feel betrayed by Shinedown but I feel betrayed by Shinedown. Anyways, this is my favorite Shinedown song, and probably on the top of the list of my favorite songs ever. When my cousin and his friend get out their guitars they always play this, it means something different to each of us but we all love it.
4. Stone the Crow - Down
I feel like a two faced whore having this on the pod, being such a big Dime fan and all...but I love this song and all bullshit aside I love Phil Anselmo's voice. This girl that I went to school with was into the same music as I was and everytime we went out we'd always jam Down on the way home with the sunroof open....she had the best metal collection I had every seen!
5 . Be Mine - Robyn
This song is on my shower mix. I reallly like it, and then I heard her do a ballad version at an awards show and it is amazing! I have searched high and low and was not able to find it :( That was a while ago though...maybe I should try again.
6. Hello Seattle - Owl City
OMG this is one of the most annoying songs in the world, but I got it stuck in my head! Long story short...BrettTheIntern on YouTube did a series on his channel and incorporated this song in every video as part of it. It was about 6 vids or so long and yeah...its on the pod...lame.

8. Mommy Complex - Peaches
Actually I just put this on the pod today. I heard it on a website today and I listened to all of "I Feel Cream" and this is the only one I liked. Good for the shower mix.
9. Send the Pain Below - Chevelle
Honestly...I love Chevelle...love love love them...but when I hear this song it reminds me of a strip club. I think it was because all the other strippers were dancing to stupid rap and pop songs and ONE brave stripper came out to Chevelle. I admire your bravery.
10. Perry Mason - Ozzy Osbourne
Love this fucking song! I have a CD in my car called Metal Mix...a friend in high school gave it to me and it was old as shit then, so it is old as shit now...anyways there is a live version of Perry Mason on there and Eric and I used to jam that shit LOUD! Our favorite part was the guitar solo in which Zakk took the liberty of extending it to what felt like 3 minutes. Ahhh we jammed the fuck out and I am surprised we didn't bust my speakers.
