I had originally intended to get vibrant grape, which just came out in the Style Warrior collection, but just wasn't really feeling it. I have been wanting Stars N' Rockets since Sugar Sweet came out and in the end I was just feeling this shade more than vibrant grape.
You know I am a fiend for purple and green eyeshadows right now. Especially with summer coming up I am sssooo ready to bust out the brights! Anyways humid is a darker green shade and I wanted a dark green to contour the crease when I use greens. It is really pretty and I can't wait to use it with Urban Decay's Graffiti (lucky charms type green) and Nars' Night Porter(black with green flecks). *happy dance*
When a new collection comes out I usually like to pick up at least one piece even if it is not that great because the packaging is different. Well I mentioned in a previous blog that I was not impressed with the Style Warrior packaging, but I forgot about the lippies! They are fantastic and I had to pick one up. I had intended on getting Brave New Bronze, but when I swatched it at the store it just was not what I was looking for. Purple Rite was pretty, but honestly I would never wear it. Then I swatched Sunsational and it was sssooo pretty. I had seen swatches online and stuff and was like eeehhhh...skip it...but I really liked it in person and decided to get it. Really happy with my purchase.
To round it off I got a 224 and a 219 brush, I had been dreaming of those brushes! I have found some really great low cost great quality brushes, but come on, you can't compare to a MAC brush. It takes time, well for me at least to build up your brushes but oh when you make brush additions I just get so HAPEEYYY!!!!
