Walk walk fashion baby

Some may know instantly who this man is, others may never give him a second glance and never know that he was considered a genius in the world that is "fashion."  This photo is of Alexander McQueen, who was found dead yesterday.  I was truly in shock.  The instant grief I felt when I read the numerous statements on Twitter surprised me.  I have always rolled my eyes at others who let the death of a celebrity effect them so much...after all it was a person they didn't know personally.  Now, I get it.

With fashion week just around the corner everyone was anxiously awaiting to see what was next.  With his last show delivering this...

How could you not be at the edge of your seat wondering what was next just like millions of others were ever season?

I swear if it was possible I would have a pair of those armadillo shoes as decoration in my house.  

I could go on and on about how in love I was with his skull scarves and brass knuckle clutches, or how his dark theatrical shows lured me into a different world when all I came looking for was the season's makeup trends on the runway.   Weather you were aware of it or now you have definitely seen a McQueen piece if you have ever seen an awards show, tabloid, red carpet or Perez Hilton.  The world of fashion has forever changed.
