Tasty Treats Vol.1

Just a couple of things I am enjoying right now
  • Bubbles, St. Germain and Lollipop Loving

These lipsticks are from MAC's Sugar Sweet collection. Love Love Love them. I wear Lollipop Loving the most because it is not too loud and it goes great with my daily eye makeup. St. Germain is bananas!!!! It is Barbie bubble gum pink and I really like it. I have to choose my eye color wisely, but it is totally worth it. I was worried about getting this color out of fear that it would make my teeth look yellow, but the MAC girl told me it had blue undertones specifically for that purpose. I tried it on and what came first LOVE or the LOVE SONG?!?!? I am going to start using that expression when I really like something. Bubbles is pretty to look at in the tube! I would def have to layer with that one but would look fierce with a great smokey eye. I also got the nail laquer in Peppermint Patti from the same collection and I die!!!!! That shade is gorg. If you follow my dailybooth then you probably saw me wearing it a couple of times there.
  • I Love You, Man

Even though Judd Apatow was not involved in this project, I still measure it against the Apatow Classics (Superbad, Pineapple Express, Knocked Up) This movie was just gosh darn cute. Everything worked in this movie, and it was kind of refreshing to have just a few of the crew. I have to admit I expected over the top raunch and one-liners, which I love, but I am really happy with the outcome. And hello the soundtrack was FEROSH! UM RUSH!!!! I almost pissed my pants when Jason Segel sang the opening to Tom Sawyer....greatness...and Paul Rudd "slappin da bass." Nice. Plus I heard some Vampire Weekend peppered in there as well...kudos.

  • Apocalyptica

Want to make a song hellaciously pathetically, helplessly dark and romantic? Use strings, use the cello. I have heard Apocalyptica, I like them. Then I found a whole bunch of their stuff where they just jam the cellos. They cover Metallica and Tool and stuff. I can't even think of a description of what it sounds like. So I am just going to spew out words: dark, sad, sexy, tears, anger, revenge, love, weakness, bittersweet, relaxation, dream. I one day want to go to a spa and get a massage where they play Apocalyptica. *sigh What came first Love or the Love song?
